Philippine Railway projects show big development with continued massive construction works in the country for more than 3-4 years, Railway projects like NSCR, Metro Manila Subway, LRT 2 extensions, MRT projects and more are all in full swing aiming to accomplish projects and be operational in 2-5 years time.
Majority of projects receive massive investment and have been awarded to major contractors and are now expected to seek subcontractors , equipment, technical and digital solutions, and services as they are in their mid or final stages of the projects.
As presented by Former Undersecretary for Railways TJ Batan, last Oct 21 at previous Railway Virtual Summit, He updated us with the plans, ongoing project status and most importantly upcoming projects in the Philippine Railway Industry.
Batan stated ”maybe for Pipeline 1 you are a little late, you should come in 2, 3, 4 years ago when we had our first conference back in 2018 but even if you are a little too late for Pipeline 1, we still have pipeline 2,3,4,5 …”
These words showed the opportunity waiting for technology and service solution providers, subcontractors and concessionaires who would like to take part in the Philippine Railway projects.
